Bed and Breakfast
The Barn
Throughout the year a warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Greenwell Hill Farm's 18th Century barn. The Barn, with its typical Weardale stone roof and converted Gin Gan takes up to thirteen guests and still retains its former character. The bed and breakfast accommodation comprises four double, one triple and one twin bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and having dining room and separate lounge. All bedrooms are traditionally furnished. Located between Wolsingham and Tow Law, Greenwell overlooks the breathtaking views of the hills of The North Pennines which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known as England's Last Wilderness and was once the hunting ground of the powerful Price Bishops of Durham. When preparing meals, wherever possible we use produce which is grown on Greenwell Farm, home produced fruit, vegetables and naturally reared meats.
Greenwell Farm's Gin Gan and Barn can also be booked as self catering accommodation, for corporate events and also ideal for family reunions / get togethers.
